Description
In Rurik: Second Edition, players take on the roles of princes in medieval Russia, vying for control and influence over the land. Designed by Stan Kordonskiy, this game is all about area majority and territory building, with simple rules that can be learned quickly, making it easy to dive right in. With 1 to 4 players, games can last anywhere from 60 to 120 minutes, giving you plenty of time to strategize and outmaneuver your opponents. Through a combination of auctioning, bidding, and card drafting, you'll need to navigate the complex web of contracts and alliances to emerge victorious, all while keeping an eye on your opponents and being prepared to take them down with a well-timed "take that" move. With variable player powers and multiple paths to victory, every game is unique and exciting.
