Description

Saga is a thrilling medieval-themed board game that drops you into the midst of epic battles, where strategy and luck collide. Designed by Alexandre Buchel and first released in 2011, this game is perfect for 2 to 4 players looking for a challenge that will keep them engaged for 90 to 150 minutes. The rules are easy to learn, but don't let that fool you - the game is full of depth and complexity, thanks to its innovative mechanics like dice rolling, line of sight, and variable player powers. In Saga, you'll command armies of miniatures, each with its own strengths and weaknesses, as you clash with your opponents in a battle of wits and dice rolls. The game comes with battleboards for four main factions - Anglo-Danish, Viking, Welsh, and Norman - each with its own unique command options that are unlocked by the roll of your Saga Dice. With simple yet strategic combat and shooting mechanics, the real challenge lies in using your battleboard options effectively to outmaneuver your foes. Whether you're a fan of medieval history, miniatures, or just great gameplay, Saga has something for everyone, making it a must-play for anyone looking for a fun and immersive gaming experience.
