Description

In Sahwari, you're the leader of a clan with big ambitions - you want to become the next Merchant Guildmaster. To get there, you'll need to develop your clan and spread your influence across the desert, gathering valuable artifacts, recruiting the best crew members, and rallying caravans to get ahead. With easy-to-learn rules, Sahwari is a game that's accessible to everyone, whether you're playing solo or with up to three friends. As you venture into the desert, you'll have to navigate a modular board, using point-to-point movement to get around and collect the resources you need to succeed. As you play, you'll take turns moving your camel through the desert, collecting resources and using them to build up your clan's abilities. You'll need to be strategic about which resources to collect and when, as you'll be competing with other players to get the best stuff. The game also features tile placement and set collection mechanics, which add a fun layer of depth to the gameplay. And with the ability to use neutral Guild camels as obstacles or to trigger attacks, you'll need to think carefully about your next move. With a playtime of just 30 to 50 minutes, Sahwari is a game that's perfect for a quick evening session or a fun afternoon with friends. As the game comes to a close, you'll need to tally up your influence to see who's come out on top. The player with the most influence wins, so it's all about building up your clan's abilities and collecting the right resources to get ahead. With its unique blend of exploration, economics, and territory building, Sahwari is a game that's full of excitement and challenge. Designed by Arnaud Chabloz and released in 2023, Sahwari is a fresh new take on the board game genre, with a rich Arabian setting and a whole lot of replayability. Whether you're a seasoned gamer or just looking for something new to try, Sahwari is definitely worth checking out.
