Description
In Saint Petersburg, you'll build a glorious city from the ground up, competing with other players to attract nobility and earn victory points. The game is easy to learn, but don't be fooled - it's full of strategic depth. With 45 to 60 minutes of playtime, you'll have plenty of time to get immersed in the world of 18th century Russia, collecting cards and managing your income to build the most impressive city. As you collect craftsmen, buildings, and aristocrats, you'll need to balance your finances and make tough decisions about which cards to prioritize. With no necessary in-game text, Saint Petersburg is accessible to players of all languages, and its simple rules make it a great introduction to more complex game mechanics like card drafting and set collection. Designed by Bernd Brunnhofer and first published in 2004, this classic game has stood the test of time, and its engaging gameplay will keep you coming back for more.
