In the vast expanse of the desert, where the golden age of humanity has long since passed, hope is a scarce commodity. The only reminders of a once thriving world are the half-ruined ancient cities, home to the last remnants of human communities struggling to survive. It's here that travelers, carrying goods on the backs of their trusty caterpillars, traverse the dunes, transporting small plants from the artificial greenhouses of the cities to the most remote corners of the desert. Their goal is simple: to make as much money as possible, but in doing so, they inadvertently help bring life back to this desolate landscape. In Sand, you'll take on the role of one of these intrepid travelers, navigating the board, collecting goods, and completing missions to earn gold. With a unique blend of mechanics, including pick-up and deliver, action points, and tech trees, this game offers a thrilling experience for 1 to 4 players. Designed by Ariel Di Costanzo and Javier Pelizzari, Sand promises an immersive adventure that will keep you engaged for around 120 minutes. As you care for your caterpillar and grow its capabilities, you'll be joined by helpful companions and entrusted with missions that will bring rewards and benefits. Will you be the one to bring hope back to the desert, or will you simply focus on accumulating wealth? Either way, the journey is sure to be an exciting one.
