Description
In Sarkophag, you'll navigate the chaotic world of ancient catacombs, where reckless researchers have disturbed the peace of resting mummies. These affectionate but troublesome creatures are now roaming free, and it's up to you to avoid taking them home. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, this trick-taking game is all about skill and tactics. Each player starts with ten cards, playing one card per round. The twist comes with the second card played, which determines whether subsequent cards must be higher or lower. The player who takes the trick gets cursed with mummy heads, but also starts the next round. The game ends after ten tricks, and the player with the fewest mummy heads wins. With its simultaneous action selection and trick-taking mechanics, Sarkophag is a fun and fast-paced game for 3 to 6 players that can be played in just 15 minutes.
