The expansion also introduces four new factions to play against, each with their own sinister plans and motivations. The Ordo of Nocturnus seeks to infiltrate and summon a demon-prince, while the Aztec Reawakening curses players with negative effects. The Sea's Fury, a coven of sea witches, will stop at nothing to reclaim their stolen relics, and the Harpy's Descent will hunt down the player with the most Notoriety. With these new factions and captains, the game offers a thrilling adventure that can be enjoyed by 1 to 5 players, with playtime ranging from 40 to 160 minutes.
