Sequoia

Friends and Communities with Sequoia

Description

Get ready to shake things up in the world of Sequoia with the Expansion Pack, designed by Chad DeShon and released in 2020. This exciting addition to the base game brings a whole new level of fun and complexity to the table, and the best part is that it's incredibly easy to learn - the rules can be explained in no time, making it accessible to new players. With the ability to play with 2 to 6 players, you can now gather a bigger group of friends and family to join in on the action, which can be enjoyed in as little as 10 to 20 minutes. The Expansion Pack introduces a new 6th player option, a partnership variant, and the Negative Value expansion, all of which breathe fresh air into the original game. The Negative Value expansion is particularly intriguing, as it flips the traditional area majority scoring on its head. Instead of earning points for having the most influence in a region, players with the least influence will now lose points. This subtle twist adds a new layer of strategy to the game, as players must carefully consider where to focus their efforts. Meanwhile, the partnership variant allows players to team up and work together to achieve area majority, with the most successful team winning the game. This cooperative element adds a fun social dynamic to the game, as players must communicate and coordinate their actions to succeed. Whether you're playing with the new 6th player option, the partnership variant, or the Negative Value expansion, the Sequoia Expansion Pack offers a thrilling way to experience the game. With its simple rules and short playtime, it's perfect for a quick game night with friends or a fun family activity. So why not give it a try and discover a whole new side of Sequoia? The Expansion Pack is a great way to mix things up and keep the game feeling fresh and exciting, even for veteran players.
