Snowdonia

Friends and Communities with Snowdonia

Description

Get ready to take your Snowdonia experience to new heights with the Jungfraubahn & Mount Washington expansion. This exciting addition to the base game whisks players away from the misty mountains of Wales and drops them into the frozen landscapes of the Jungfraubahn and Mount Washington. With new mechanisms, weather conditions, and trains to discover, you'll need to adapt your strategy to succeed in these challenging environments. Whether you're playing with a group of friends or going solo, this expansion offers a fresh and thrilling experience that's perfect for fans of the original game. One of the standout features of this expansion is the introduction of dynamite, which adds a whole new layer of complexity to the game. In the Jungfraubahn scenario, the fifth player's pieces are repurposed as dynamite, allowing players to blast their way through obstacles and reach new heights. Meanwhile, the Mount Washington scenario brings a fun twist to the Surveyor mechanic, adding a sense of unpredictability to the game. With new contract cards, trains, and track cards to explore, you'll need to think carefully about how to allocate your resources and navigate the challenges of these new environments. With a playtime of around 90 minutes, this expansion is perfect for a fun evening with friends or a relaxing afternoon of solo gameplay. The rules are straightforward, making it easy for fans of the base game to jump right in and start playing. The expansion is designed for 1 to 5 players, so you can enjoy it with a large group or as a solo experience. Whether you're a seasoned Snowdonia player or just looking for a new challenge, the Jungfraubahn & Mount Washington expansion is a great way to breathe new life into the game and experience the thrill of building and competing in new and exciting ways.
