Description
Square One is a fresh take on abstract strategy, bringing a unique blend of pattern building and tile placement to the table. Designed by Jan Soukal and Patrik Chleboun, this 2025 release is perfect for 1 to 4 players looking for a fun and challenging experience that's easy to learn but hard to master. With a playtime of just 30 to 50 minutes, it's an excellent addition to any family game night or casual gathering. In Square One, players compete to build patterns by matching tiles to pattern cards on the board, earning points for their creations. The more patterns you build, the more combos you can make, and the higher your score will be. The goal is simple: be the first player to complete all your patterns and you win. With its intuitive mechanics and high replayability, Square One offers something for everyone, from casual players to seasoned strategists. Whether you're playing solo or with friends, Square One is a great way to exercise your brain and have a blast, and with expansions like the Joker Ambassador Pack and Combo Master on the horizon, there's always something new to look forward to.
