Friends and Communities with Successors (Fourth Edition)
Description
Get ready for a battle of wits and strategy with Successors, a card-driven wargame for 2 to 5 players. Set in ancient times, the game revolves around the power struggle that ensued after Alexander the Great's death in 323 BC. Players take on the roles of Macedonian generals vying for control of the empire, using a combination of area majority, influence, and campaign cards to outmaneuver their opponents. With a playtime of 300 minutes, Successors is a game that requires dedication and strategic thinking. The rules may take some time to learn, but the payoff is well worth it. The fourth edition, published in 2021, offers a range of new features, including additional generals, scenarios, and components, making it a must-play for fans of ancient warfare and wargames.
