Description

Take The A Chord is a fun and engaging trick-taking card game where players become jazz musicians competing in the strength of their chords. With easy-to-learn rules, 2 to 4 players can join in on the fun, playing cards in five suits labeled A-G. The twist is that the highest-valued letter in the game is determined randomly, and players can change this by playing the same chord as another player. As players improvise and change the highest-ranking chord, they score bonuses, but beware - taking too many tricks can cost points in the long run. The goal is to score well, lead the band, and then step aside, all within a quick 30-minute playtime. With its unique blend of music and trick-taking mechanics, Take The A Chord is a game that will keep you coming back for more, and with its simple rules, it's easy to get started and join the jazz band.
