Description

The Best of Board Wargaming is a unique board game that's more like a book, published back in 1980 by game designer Nicholas Palmer. Despite being a wargame at heart, with a focus on the Napoleonic era, it doesn't actually require any players, which is definitely unusual. With no set playtime, you can dip in and out as you like, and the rules are pretty straightforward, so if you're familiar with board games, you'll have no problem figuring it out. The complexity is just right, not too simple, not too complicated, making it a great resource for anyone interested in the world of wargaming. It's essentially a collection of the best bits of board wargaming, hence the name, and is a great way to learn more about the genre, the Napoleonic era, and how games are designed, all in one handy package.
