Description
Twilight Imperium: Fourth Edition is a game of galactic conquest where 3 to 6 players take on the role of one of seventeen unique factions vying for domination. Each faction offers a different play experience, from the wormhole-hopping Ghosts of Creuss to the Emirates of Hacan, masters of trade and economics. The game board is uniquely constructed from 51 galaxy tiles at the start of each game, featuring planets, supernovas, asteroid fields, and more. As players take turns moving their fleets, claiming new planets, and engaging in warfare and trade, they must also navigate the complexities of the game's mechanics, including action drafting, area-impulse, and tech trees. The game is won by completing objectives, which are revealed over the course of the game, and scoring victory points. With its intricate gameplay and dynamic goals, Twilight Imperium: Fourth Edition offers a challenging and engaging experience that can last from 240 to 480 minutes, making it a true test of strategic skill and galactic ambition.
