Description
The Castles of Burgundy is a game of strategy and skill, where 2 to 4 players take on the roles of aristocrats in medieval France. Each player aims to build their own princedom, complete with settlements and powerful castles, by collecting and placing settlement tiles. The game is played over five phases, with each phase consisting of five rounds, and players must carefully manage their dice rolls and turn order to take the actions they need. As players build their princedoms, they can exploit silver mines, practice trade, and use the knowledge of travelers to gain an advantage. The game offers a range of benefits and bonuses, from additional actions and money to victory points and die roll adjustments. With its unique blend of tile placement, dice rolling, and strategic planning, The Castles of Burgundy is a challenging and engaging game that requires skill and strategy to win.
