Description
The Cousins' War is a game of medieval strategy and battle, where two players take on the roles of the Houses of York and Lancaster, fighting for control of England. This easy-to-learn game is designed by David J. Mortimer and plays out over a series of rounds, each representing a few years of the conflict. Players use action cards to deploy troops, gain influence, and prepare for battles that will determine the fate of the regions. With its unique blend of card play, dice rolling, and area majority mechanics, The Cousins' War is a thrilling and immersive experience. The game is quick to play, lasting around 30 minutes, and is perfect for fans of medieval and Renaissance-themed games. The second edition features larger components and an optional variant, Times of Change, which adds new cards and depth to the game.
