Description

The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – The Dead Marshes is an exciting expansion that throws you into the treacherous world of Middle-earth, where you'll be on the hunt for the elusive Gollum. As you follow his trail south, you'll find yourself navigating the deadly fens and mires, trying to outsmart your slippery quarry. With the introduction of sixty new cards, including a new Quest featuring the Escape mechanism, you'll experience the thrill of the chase like never before. This mechanism allows Gollum to take desperate risks to evade capture, making the game even more challenging and unpredictable. In this cooperative game, you'll work together with up to one other player to track down Gollum, using hand management and variable player powers to outwit the dangers that lurk in the shadows. With a playtime of around 60 minutes, you'll be fully immersed in the world of Middle-earth, using all your skills and strategy to succeed in your mission. The game's normal complexity makes it easy to learn for fans of board games, and the fantasy setting, based on the classic novel, will transport you to a world of magic and adventure. Will you be able to catch Gollum, or will he slip through your fingers once again? The Dead Marshes is an exhilarating expansion that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
