Description

The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – Road to Rivendell is a thrilling adventure for 1 to 2 players that drops you into the perilous world of Middle-earth. As you embark on a 60-minute journey, you'll guide some of the realm's greatest heroes as they escort Arwen to the safety of Rivendell. The road ahead is treacherous, with enemies lurking in the shadows, waiting to ambush your fellowship. With the fate of Arwen and your heroes hanging in the balance, you'll need to use all your wits and strategic prowess to overcome the challenges that lie in wait. As the second chapter in the "Dwarrowdelf" narrative arc, Road to Rivendell introduces 60 new cards, including a new scenario, hero, and player cards, which add fresh depth and complexity to the game. With its normal complexity level, this expansion is perfect for fans of the series and newcomers alike who are familiar with board games. Designed by Nate French and Lukas Litzsinger, this cooperative game requires hand management and variable player powers, making it a fun and engaging experience. To play, you'll need a copy of The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game Core Set and the Khazad-dûm Expansion, but trust us, it's worth it – the thrill of the journey and the satisfaction of saving Arwen make Road to Rivendell an unforgettable adventure.
