Friends and Communities with The Red Burnoose

Description

Get ready to join the fight against the invading French armies in The Red Burnoose: Algeria 1857, a cooperative board game for 1 to 4 players. Set in the Kabylie region of Algeria in 1857, this game drops you into the midst of a intense battle for survival. You'll work together with your fellow players to outlast the French advance, using deck-building and area-control elements to protect your villages. The French are controlled by an automa deck, providing a challenging opponent for players to defeat, whether you're playing solo or with a group of up to three friends. As you play, you'll strategically move your pieces between villages to stop the French in their tracks. You'll use the cards in your hand and those you buy from the shared market to acquire new pieces and manipulate the board state, all in an effort to emerge victorious. With a playtime of 60 to 120 minutes, The Red Burnoose: Algeria 1857 offers a engaging and challenging experience that's perfect for fans of cooperative games and wargames. Designed by Roberta Taylor and Matt Shoemaker, this 2022 release is a must-play for anyone looking for a fun and strategic gaming experience.
