Description

Get ready to take your shot with TRICQ SHOT, a billiards-themed trick-taking game designed by T親方, also known as Master T, and published in 2024. This game is all about strategy and a little bit of luck, making it a blast for 3 to 5 players to enjoy together. The rules are simple and can be explained quickly, so you can dive right into the fun. Each round, you'll start with a hand of cards featuring letters and ranks, and you'll secretly choose a card to "pocket" to determine whether you're playing for stripes or solids. As the lead player announces whether cards are better in ascending or descending order, the game really gets rolling. You'll take turns laying down cards, trying to follow the lead player's card with one of the same letter or rank. The possibilities for which cards can be played increase as the round goes on, making it feel like the balls are ricocheting on the table. The round ends when the 8-ball hits the table, and you'll score points for the cards that match your pocket card. The game ends when someone reaches 8 points, and with playtime ranging from 20 to 60 minutes, you can fit in a quick game or a longer tournament. Whether you're a fan of card games or just looking for something new, TRICQ SHOT is a great choice for a fun and exciting game night.
