Description

Get ready to build your own city and make it thrive in Urbánie, a game of city building and strategy for 2 to 5 players. Designed by Petr Chval and published in 2016, this game is easy to learn and can be played in just 45 to 60 minutes. In Urbánie, you'll construct new buildings, collect wealth and prestige, and try to satisfy your population, all while competing with your opponents to create the most impressive city. The game is played over 6 epochs, each with its own challenges and opportunities, and the buildings you construct will have different point values depending on the epoch. As you play, you'll have to make tough decisions about which actions to take on your turn, choosing from options like taking a building card, claiming a monument, or using a city growth card to expand your city for free. The goal is to accumulate wealth, prestige, and satisfaction, but be careful - your score is determined by the lowest of these three values, so you'll need to balance your efforts carefully. With its unique blend of city building and strategic planning, Urbánie is a game that's sure to challenge and delight players of all ages, and its short playtime makes it perfect for a fun night in with family and friends.
