Description

Villages: Power Dice is an exciting expansion to the base game Villages, introducing an extra layer of unpredictability and thrill to each encounter. When two units clash, players roll one of these special dice, adding the result to their unit's power and determining the outcome of the battle. This simple yet effective mechanic injects a burst of excitement into the game, as the roll of the dice can suddenly turn the tide of a battle in your favor or catch you off guard. The real fun lies in the unexpected twists and turns that arise from the dice rolls. Each set of Power Dice comes with a bonus Gambler card, which is triggered by a specific dice roll and can significantly impact the game. This adds a delightful layer of strategy, as players must carefully consider when to take risks and roll the dice, hoping to land on the right number to unleash the Gambler's ability. With the Power Dice, even the most experienced players will find their carefully laid plans turned upside down, keeping everyone on their toes. The game is incredibly accessible, with straightforward rules that can be explained quickly, making it easy for new players to jump in and start rolling. In Villages: Power Dice, 2 to 6 players can engage in these thrilling battles, with games lasting around 30 minutes or less. Designed by Jaron Frost, this 2014 expansion is the perfect addition to the base game, bringing a fresh dynamic that will keep you coming back for more. Whether you're a fan of dice rolling, hand management, or set collection, there's something for everyone in Villages: Power Dice. With its unique blend of luck, strategy, and variable player powers, this expansion is sure to breathe new life into your Villages experience.
