Description
Vive le Roi! throws you straight into a noisy Renaissance court where everyone’s trying to out‑bluff, out‑bet and out‑scheme the other nobles – and the whole thing wraps up in about half an hour, no matter if you’ve got a duo or a full party of eight. The rules are so light you can explain them in a coffee break, then jump straight into the chaos of secret unit placement, sneaky voting and frantic negotiations. Every round you’ll be guessing who’s hiding what, betting on the odds, and tossing in a little drama for good measure, all with a big splash of humor that makes it feel more like a mischievous party than a “serious” strategy game. Designed by Stefano Luperto and Jean‑Michel Maman back in 2003, it needs no reading of cards or rulebooks once you start – just the willingness to talk, bluff and laugh your way through the royal intrigue.
