Released in 2015, this expansion introduces the Tyranids, a brand-new faction that will stop at nothing to devour everything in their path. With two Tyranid warlords to choose from, each with their own unique play style, you'll need to strategize and adapt to take down your opponent. The game is designed for 2 players and can be learned quickly by those familiar with board games, thanks to its normal complexity rules. As you delve into the game, you'll discover new units, supports, events, and attachments that will aid you in your battle against the Tyranids. The introduction of synapse units adds a fresh layer of gameplay, and with new unique characters joining the fight, every faction must be prepared to face the Tyranid threat.
