Description

Get ready for the ultimate battle in the Warhammer universe with Warhammer: Invasion – Path of the Zealot, an expansion pack that brings new excitement to the original game. Designed by Eric M. Lang and released in 2009, this game is perfect for two players who are looking for a thrilling experience that will keep them on the edge of their seats for about 60 minutes. The rules are easy to learn, making it accessible to new players, but the gameplay is complex enough to challenge seasoned veterans. With the introduction of new cards and mechanics, players will have to re-evaluate their strategies and adapt to the changing landscape of the game. The Path of the Zealot expansion introduces a range of new units, characters, and abilities that will shake up the balance of power in the Warhammer world. The Skaven forces are bolstered by the arrival of Poison Wind Globadiers, who can corrupt to deal damage to their enemies, while the Chittering Horde tactic allows players to search for ratmen recruits to swell their ranks. Meanwhile, the forces of Order gain the assistance of the Zealot Hunter, who destroys that which doesn't belong, and the capricious Veteran Sellswords, who change sides with each passing moment. The Dwarfs, on the other hand, can now shield themselves with the powerful starmetal known as Gromril, and the Gate of Sigmar bars the entrance to one of the most populated cities in the Empire. Each turn, it will keep damage from reaching your noble home, giving you a strategic advantage. As players delve into the world of Warhammer: Invasion – Path of the Zealot, they will discover new quests, units, and abilities that will challenge their skills and test their tactics. The High Elves and Dark Elves are also more prominent, with the Repeater Bolt Thrower launching a wave of indirect damage and Vaul's Unmaking removing the weapons from the hands of the enemy. The Dark Elves can call upon dark powers to pull the very blood from their foes, and the Bloodsworn make an excellent protector for damaged zones. With so many new additions, the game is more dynamic than ever, and players will need to stay focused and adaptable to emerge victorious. Will you be one of the legends forged in the heat of battle, or will you fall to the might of your opponents? The fate of the Warhammer world is in your hands.
