Description

Get ready to dive into the world of Cold War politics and economics with Wir sind das Volk!: Combined Edition, a game designed by Richard Sivél and Peer Sylvester. In this immersive game, 2 to 4 players take on the roles of East or West Germany, navigating the complexities of rebuilding their economies and improving the living standards of their people after World War II. With a playtime of 60 to 200 minutes, you'll need to use your action cards wisely, balancing precise planning with the unpredictability of events like the 1973 Oil Crisis or mass protests. As you build up your economy, you'll need to make tough decisions that impact not only your own country but also the global stage. The game's tug of war mechanics and team-based gameplay add an extra layer of excitement, especially with the 4-player expansion "2+2", where the USA and Soviet Union enter the game, forming partnerships and competing for dominance. With a wide range of strategic choices, you'll need to manipulate your partner's choices, sabotage their plans, and balance your own interests with the need for world peace. With its intricate gameplay and historical context, Wir sind das Volk!: Combined Edition is a thrilling experience that will keep you on the edge of your seat, making it a must-play for fans of economic and political games.
