Description

Zoo Quest is a classic adventure board game that's all about collecting and transporting exotic animals, inspired by the popular UK television show of the same name, which was presented by David Attenborough. First published in 1959, this easy-to-learn game is perfect for 2 to 6 players who are ready to embark on a thrilling journey across Africa. The goal is simple: gather a prize-winning collection of animals and return home with them via the international airport on the map. The twist is that the types of winning collections and their size limits vary depending on the number of players, making each game unique and challenging. As players navigate the board, they'll need to manage their resources carefully, using hand management and card drafting to collect the right animals and event cards to help them succeed. With point-to-point movement and set collection mechanics, players can travel by foot or plane, but beware - the more distant the target location, the more expensive the flight. And with the option to sell animals for working capital, players will need to strategize and make tough decisions to come out on top. With its educational animal cards and humorous touches, like the "Lesser-Spotted Swamp Dragon," Zoo Quest is a fun and engaging game that's perfect for families and adventure-seekers alike, and can be enjoyed in about 60 minutes.
