This guide explains how to use /friends to connect with other users on Kallax so you can search in the collections and invite them to events.

The QR-code and link on the page will take people to your public profile, from there they can send a friend request to you, see your public folders or search in your board game collection.

This page will show incoming and outgoing friend requests along with people you have already befriended on the platform. You can click the ⋮ -menu to revoke, accept or send a friend request to a user.

This link can also be useful for friends and family without an account. They will be able to see your public folders and search in your collection without logging in, but will need an account to send a friend request.

Friend Search

You can find other users by typing their display name into the search field. This is the name shown on their public profile and may differ from the username they use to log in. Keep in mind that multiple users may share display name.

If a user has linked and verified their BoardGameGeek account then you can also find them by searching for their BGG username. Verification means the user has confirmed ownership of their BGG account. Each BGG account can only be linked to one KLX account. You can unlink your account under settings.

Well, first of all having friends is a beautiful thing isn't it? Making your friendship official on Kallax will add their collection to the options you see on the search page.
