Play Logging 📝

The play logging feature is out of beta and now available to everyone with Enthusiast accounts.

As previously mentioned the feature allows play logging and supports the concept of identifies. This allows you to log plays against a friend that is not using Kallax.io - all their plays can be transferred to their account should the later choose to create one.

You can now link play sessions with events, this happens automatically if you log while an event you have marked as attending is going on.

You can also upload images to play sessions to remember the good times.

Guest +1 ✉️

We do our best to make it easy to send event invites to your friends and have them RSVP with no account required.

It just became even easier. If you already know that they are coming then you can mark them directly as a guest.

You can also allow participants to bring guests. These guest identities can also be used together with the play logging feature.

Event and Image modules 🪄

We have added two new options for customizing your community page. Image and Events.

Image simply allows you to upload an image that gets shown on your community overview page. Use this to customize your page.

Events shows upcoming events at the community. You can decide which events gets shown in the module, similar to how the event tab works.

Camera 📷

Added the option to take a photo with the device camera and add directly.
You can see all images you have uploaded under /photos.

Minor changes 🤏

• Updated localization format to parse faster and take up slightly less space
• Updated the repeat event dialog to use the new calendar view
• Updated the QR codes to be generated faster and include the logo
• Updated who voted modal on game events
• Disabled auto-correct and capitalize on the username field (login and register)
• Updated error messages to be more clear when failing during registration
• Made /register keep the guest account data if upgrading from guest account
• Removed 'retype password' to make register form shorter
• Fixed some fields not being when repeating an event
• Added option to bring / suggest to event on /search to the menu
• Added a sub-menu to the random board game picker on /search
• Enabled BoardGameGeek 'auto sync' mode for everyone (no longer beta)
• Localized more of the website
• Updated server OS and packages
