Is Kallax.io free to use?
Yes. The Hobbyist account tier will always remain completely free.
For cafés, event organizers, or anyone who wants to support the platform, we offer an Enthusiast
tier with some extra features. It’s a flexible, pay-what-you-want subscription that keeps the site
ad-free.
Do I need an account to use Kallax.io?
Most features do not require an account to explore, such as searching, browsing communities or finding
board game events.
An account or guest account is required to manage your collection and participate in events.
How can I suggest a new feature or improvement?
We love getting user suggestions. In fact, most of our development is based directly on feedback from
users.

I found a bug, where can I report it?

Is there an app for Android/iOS?
Partially. You can install our web-app on your phone, but Kallax.io is not yet available on App Store /
Play Store.
What is a guest account?
Guest accounts are temporary accounts that do not require a login. They may be deleted after 30 days of
inactivity and can not be recovered if you log out or clear your browser data.
You can upgrade to a regular account at any time by setting a password.
Is the site actively maintained?

Can I delete my account and data?
Yes, at any time. Navigate to settings and
delete it.
Account deletion is immediate and permanent. Some data may remain in backups or logs for up to 30 days,
after that it will be as if your account never existed.
How is the site funded?
Some users choose to support us through the Enthusiast-tier or donations. This helps us keep
the site running ad-free for everyone.
Is the project open source?
Kallax.io is not open source.
However, if you’re interested in contributing or collaborating, feel free to contact
us.
The source code will be made publicly available if the project ever ceases to operate as
a hosted service.
What technologies or tech stack does Kallax.io use?
No, Kallax.io is a hosted service. We currently don’t have the time and resources to maintain a
self-hosted version of the project.
Additionally, a self-hosted setup goes against our vision for social and collaborative features
that rely on our shared hosted environment.
