Get ready to delve into the eerie world of Cthulhu Gloom: Unpleasant Dreams, an expansion that brings the haunting Dreamlands to the table. In this game, you'll guide your investigators through a maze of terrifying terrors and madness, all before they meet their inevitable doom. With 55 transparent cards to mix into your existing Cthulhu Gloom game, you'll encounter new Modifiers, Events, Stories, Transformations, and Untimely Deaths that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The addition of a new family that calls the Dreamlands home adds a fresh layer of complexity to the game, and with the ability to play with up to six players, the chaos is only amplified. As you navigate the creeping chaos of Nyarlathotep, you'll need to be strategic about how you play your cards, especially with the introduction of Unwelcome Guests. These two new Character cards can be dealt face up at the start of the game and will follow specific card types, moving to join the family of the character on which one of its trigger cards is played. This can throw a wrench into your plans and even delay the game's end if a final play draws a Guest to the near-winner's family.
