Description
In Cthulhu Gloom, the goal is to make your characters as miserable and insane as possible, while keeping your opponents' heroes sane and alive. This Lovecraftian spin on the original Gloom game is easy to learn and can be played with 2 to 5 players in about 60 minutes. Each player controls a group of protagonists, and you'll use cards to make them suffer, earning negative points and trying to outdo your opponents. The transparent cards in Cthulhu Gloom allow you to stack multiple modifiers on a character, altering their stats or undoing what an opponent has done. With story cards and transformation cards adding a new layer of gameplay, you'll need to strategize to make your characters suffer the most. Will you be the one to claim the story cards and gain their benefits, or will you fall prey to the interdimensional doom that awaits us all? In Cthulhu Gloom, the player whose characters have suffered the most wins, making for a delightfully dark and entertaining game.
