Description
In Nightlight, a cooperative board game for 1 to 4 players, you'll embark on a thrilling adventure to defend the serenity of dreams from the corruption of the Nightmare. Published in 2014 by designers Brandon Higley and Nick Tapia, this game is all about working together to keep the Nightlight lit and the darkness at bay. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, you'll dive into a world of horror and card game excitement, where you control a stuffed animal brought to life by a child's imagination and the magic of dreams. As you play through the 30-minute game, you'll experience a series of intense rounds, each divided into phases where you'll gather strength and prepare to face the enemies of the Nightmare. With variable player powers and dice rolling adding an element of unpredictability, you'll need to stay focused and work together to overcome the challenges that come your way. The dreamscape is constantly shifting, introducing new weaknesses for the Nightmare to exploit, and the enemies will stop at nothing to extinguish the Nightlight. But if at least one of your stuffed animals survives until the end of the third round, you'll emerge victorious, having kept the Nightlight burning until dawn. Will you answer the call to defend the world of dreams and save the Nightlight from the forces of darkness?
