Description
Escaping Extinction is a thrilling cooperative board game where you play as a team of super-smart dinosaurs trying to escape the impending extinction by building a rocket. With the help of your friend Dr. Velo C. Raptor, you'll travel the world, searching for crucial rocket parts. The game is designed for 1 to 4 players and takes about 45 minutes to play, making it a fun and engaging experience for a casual game night. The rules are easy to learn, so you can jump right into the action and start exploring the modular board, which changes layout every time you play. As you navigate through the game, you'll use your action points to move around, reveal new tiles, and collect resources. The Rocket Docket cards will guide you on your quest, revealing the location of the next rocket part. But beware, the Meteor is getting closer, and you'll need to work together to make it to the safety of space before it's too late. The Meteor cards can either help or hinder your progress, adding an element of surprise to the game. And just when you think you've got a handle on things, an Earthquake can strike, shuffling the board and changing the terrain layout, forcing you to adapt and explore new areas. With its unique blend of action points, cooperative gameplay, and modular board, Escaping Extinction offers a fun and exciting experience for players of all ages. The game's themes of exploration, science fiction, and prehistoric animals make it a standout title, and its 2024 release ensures that it's a fresh and modern take on the board game genre. Designed by Chris Armstrong and Jen Armstrong, Escaping Extinction is a must-play for anyone looking for a thrilling and interactive gaming experience. So gather your friends, work together, and see if you can escape extinction before it's too late.
