Description

In Tetrarchia, 1 to 4 players take on the roles of the 4 Emperors, working together to save the Roman Empire from internal revolts and external threats. With easy-to-learn rules, the game offers a high level of replayability, with up to 81 different difficulty levels. Players must make strategic decisions, using their Imperivm Points to move, sail, secure, subdue, or attack, and then navigate the threats that arise from the roll of two dice. As the Emperors, players must secure the borders of the Empire before it's too late, or risk losing Rome to the barbarian armies or internal unrest. With a playtime of just 20 to 40 minutes, Tetrarchia is a quick and engaging game that's perfect for fans of cooperative games and ancient history. The game's simple yet challenging gameplay makes it accessible to new players, while the varying difficulty levels and multiple expansions, including Tetrarchia: Dux, offer plenty of depth for experienced gamers.
