Description

In the world of Mythos, a dark and ancient power stirs, threatening to destroy humanity in an instant. This horror skirmish game, inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft, takes place in a small city in the US, where various factions are vying for power and survival. Players take on the roles of these factions, each with their unique abilities, stats, and traits, as they navigate the complex web of alliances and rivalries. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, Mythos is easy to learn, but challenging to master, as players must balance their actions and sanity to achieve their objectives. As players delve into the world of Mythos, they will encounter a range of terrifying creatures, from cultists summoning ancient powers to guardians awakening from their slumber. Each character has a dual nature, with some revealing their true selves as insanity takes hold, while others are triggered by specific effects and interactions. With 60 to 90 minutes of playtime, 1 to 4 players can engage in intense battles, using action points, dice rolling, and variable player powers to outmaneuver their opponents.
