Description

Real Fishing is a fun and interactive board game that's all about reeling in the big catch. Designed by Larry Unwin and first published in 1988, this game is perfect for 2 to 6 players looking for a quick and exciting experience that can be wrapped up in just 30 minutes. The rules are simple to learn, so you can dive right in and start fishing. Players take turns drawing a boat, choosing their fishing rods and lures, and setting out to catch the highest total weight of fish. The game is set on a hexagon grid, representing a lake, where players can travel and cast their lines to catch fish. As you travel around the lake, you'll need to decide how far to go and which fishing technique to use - will you be "flippin'" or casting? The right rod and lure can make all the difference, and you'll need to strategize to make sure you've got the right gear for the job. But watch out, those fish can be tricky, and you might end up pulling in a mermaid or an old tire instead. With variable player powers and a range of fish to catch, every game is different. The goal is to get back to the dock within 32 turns with the biggest haul, so you'll need to balance your fishing skills with the need to get back to shore before time runs out. Whether you're playing for fun or competing in a tournament, Real Fishing is a great way to spend time with friends and family.
