Description
In Namibia, you and your fellow players take on the roles of mining corporations, competing to mine and transport commodities like diamonds, gold, silver, and copper to ports to sell at the highest price. To succeed, you'll need to bribe colonial government officials to gain access to the interior and ports, all while building up the necessary infrastructure to deliver your commodities. As you develop the country's rail infrastructure, construct mines, and prospect for ore, you'll need to balance your pursuit of wealth with the risk of decreased reputation from excessive bribery. The key to winning is timing, as the market can be manipulated by other players, and selecting the right moment to ship and sell is crucial. With its unique blend of auction, commodity speculation, and route building mechanics, Namibia offers a challenging and engaging experience for 3 to 4 players, lasting around 120 minutes.
