Description

In Horizons, you're a starfaring species taking the first steps into a new galaxy, where you'll explore new worlds, collect valuable resources, and secure allies to gain the most ground in expanding your empire. With 2 to 5 players, you'll navigate a modular board, using tile placement and area majority mechanics to build colonies and resource collectors, all while trying to manipulate resources and control the galaxy. As you take turns, you'll have the chance to explore new worlds, adapt to changing circumstances, build structures, harvest resources, and conspire to complete missions. The game ends when a player places their last colony, and the player with the most points wins, scoring for controlling star systems, unspent knowledge, and completed missions. With a playtime of 60 to 75 minutes, Horizons offers a fun and challenging experience for fans of science fiction and space exploration, and its normal complexity makes it easy for board game enthusiasts to learn and dive in.
