Description

Eastern Front Solitaire is a classic solo wargame that drops you into the midst of World War II, specifically the Germany campaign in Russia. As the only player, you'll control the German forces, navigating the challenges and uncertainties of war from June 1941 to February 1945. The game system takes care of the Russian forces, creating a dynamic and immersive experience. With a playtime of 120 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to delve into the intricacies of war, making strategic decisions and adjusting to the ever-changing circumstances on the front lines. The gameplay is easy to learn, but that doesn't mean it's simple - the area movement and simulation mechanics work together to create a rich and engaging experience. You'll have 280 counters at your disposal, representing corps and armies, and you can choose from different scenarios starting in 1941, 1942, or 1943. Optional rules add an extra layer of depth, allowing you to explore different what-if scenarios, such as the role of the German 8th Army or the impact of Hitler's directives. Whether you're a seasoned wargamer or just looking for a challenging and thought-provoking experience, Eastern Front Solitaire is a great choice, offering a unique blend of history, strategy, and solo gameplay.
