Description
In Carcosa, you'll lead a Lovecraftian cult, summoning forth the home of the Tattered King one tile at a time. You'll use your cultists to control leylines, conduct rituals, and influence the districts of Carcosa, all while trying to stabilize your summoned tiles with power drawn from leylines. But be warned, other cults can reshape your tiles, so you'll need to stay on top of your game. As you play, you'll recruit more cultists, gather power, and drive them mad with terrible secrets. You'll use oracles to spend power on game-changing spells and sacrifice cultists to horrific avatars of the King. The game ends when a cult gathers enough power to conduct the final summoning of the King in Yellow or when Carcosa becomes a permanent feature of our Earth, with the cult having the most power seizing control. Will your cult succeed in these insane tasks, or will you succumb to the horrors of Carcosa?
