Description

Get ready to enter the wicked world of ancient Rome in Horrible Histories: Rotten Romans, a game that's all about survival and escape. You'll take on the role of a gladiator, brought to Rome as a slave, and your goal is to gather the tools and resources you need to make a break for freedom. With a simple set of rules to learn, you'll be navigating the treacherous streets of Rome in no time, trying to avoid the soldiers who are hot on your heels. As you move around the board, you'll collect armor, weapons, food, and water, all of which will aid you in your quest for freedom. As you play, you'll be immersed in the nasty bits of history that Terry Deary's bestselling books are famous for. With 2 to 5 players, the game is perfect for a fun night in with friends or family, and the 60-minute playtime means you can easily fit in a game or two. The roll and move system makes the game easy to pick up, but challenging to master, as you try to outmaneuver your opponents and be the first to reach your home country. Will you emerge victorious and claim your freedom, or will you succumb to the horrors of the Colosseum?
