Description

Pax Expanse is a game of strategic manipulation and area control, set in the thrilling universe of The Expanse. Designed by Chris J Davis and published in 2019, this game challenges 3 to 4 players to navigate the complex web of alliances and rivalries between the United Nations, the Mars Congressional Republic, and the Outer Planets Alliance. As powerful puppetmasters, players must use their influence to control key regions of the Solar System, all while dealing with the mysterious and potentially catastrophic effects of the Protomolecule. Gameplay is deep and complex, with multiple paths to victory and a unique scoring system that changes depending on which faction is in dominance. Players can increase their power and abilities by purchasing asset cards, which grant them special actions and abilities. The game's currency, influence, is used to acquire these assets, and players must carefully manage their resources to come out on top. With four scoring phases and a playtime of 90 to 240 minutes, Pax Expanse is a game that requires strategic thinking, cunning, and a little bit of luck. As players navigate the intricate world of The Expanse, they'll need to form alliances, make deals, and outmaneuver their opponents to emerge victorious.
