Description
In Embark, you'll send your voyagers to newly discovered islands in search of wealth and adventure. With 2 to 5 players, you'll simultaneously assign your voyagers to boats, then take turns giving them jobs. The goal is to explore, colonize, and mine the islands' riches, while watching out for your opponents' warriors who can sabotage your plans. The game is easy to learn and plays out over 30 to 60 minutes. Designed by Philip duBarry, Embark combines strategic worker placement with simultaneous action selection, making each round exciting and unpredictable. As you assign jobs to your voyagers, you'll unlock the islands' secrets, collect valuable resources, and build farms to score points. With area majority and influence mechanics at play, you'll need to balance your actions to come out on top. Will you emerge victorious and claim the most points after six rounds of adventure and competition?
