In Peak Oil, you're the top manager of a big oil company, racing to lead your enterprise into a future without oil. With peak oil looming, you must squeeze the last drops from oil fields worldwide to gather resources and invest in oil replacement technologies. You'll assign agents to action spots on the board, trying to outmaneuver competitors to take key actions like developing oil fields, building pipelines, and investing in new technologies. As the oil runs out, the game ends and players tally the value of their investments. The player who shaped the future best wins, having gained favor for their company. With a playtime of 45 to 75 minutes, Peak Oil is a thrilling challenge for 2 to 5 players, requiring strategic thinking and a bit of luck.
