Description
In New England, you and your friends will settle the 17th century American coast, buying and developing large tracts of land. Each player starts with a few tiles of different land types, and then it's a matter of bidding for the right to buy more land or development cards. The game is easy to learn, but it requires strategic thinking to outmaneuver your opponents and earn the most victory points. As you play, you'll need to balance your spending with your earning, using your shillings to buy pilgrims, barns, and ships that will help you develop your land and earn more points. The game ends when there aren't enough cards and tiles left to go around, and the player with the most points wins. With its unique blend of auction and tile placement mechanics, New England is a fun and challenging game for 3 to 4 players that will keep you coming back for more.
