Description

Get ready for a thrilling adventure in Escape the Dark Sector: Mission Pack 2 – Mutant Syndrome, the latest expansion to the popular Escape the Dark Sector game. In this cooperative game, 1 to 4 players work together to navigate through a horror-filled science fiction world, where the lines between human and mutant are blurred. Exposed to cosmic radiation and mysterious alien substances, your crew members' bodies begin to gruesomely distort, bringing about both positive and negative effects. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, you'll dive into a 45-minute game of dice rolling, push your luck, and role-playing, as you try to survive the mutant syndrome. As you play through 12 new chapters, you'll encounter an advanced alpha-mutant boss, as well as other horrific mutant adversaries. You'll have the help of three new loyal alien specialist crew members, and access to eight new item cards, including gruesome crew-mutations and powerful cybernetics. The new mutation mechanic adds a fresh layer of challenge and excitement to the game, as you navigate the unpredictable effects of the mutations on your crew. With four new dice, including a mutation die, you'll need to use all your skills and strategy to escape the dark sector and overcome the mutant syndrome. Will you be able to work together and make it out alive, or will the mutations consume you?
