Get ready for a wild ride with Commies, a semi-cooperative card game where 4 to 7 players take on the roles of factions in the government, all vying for power and riches. With easy-to-learn rules, you'll be scheming and negotiating with your fellow players in no time. The goal is simple: amass enough supporters to seize power, but the journey is full of twists and turns. You can form coalitions with other players to take down the traitors, or go it alone and try to scheme your way to the top. Each game is a thrilling 30 to 60 minutes of simultaneous action selection, betting, and bluffing, as you play cards face down and try to outmaneuver your opponents. With leader cards that can switch allegiances and State Secrets that can turn the tide of the game, no two rounds are ever the same. Designed by Stephen DeBaun and published in 2017, Commies is a party game like no other, combining elements of bluffing, negotiation, and teamwork to create a truly unique experience.
