Description
In Ars Mysteriorum, you're an alchemy apprentice competing in King Florim's prestigious tournament. Your goal is to earn the most money by the end of the competition, and you'll do this by gathering basic elements like Brimstone, Verdigris, and Salt. You'll need to barter and bid for these essentials, using them to gain access to Masters' tents and demonstrate your skills by completing simple yet impressive recipes, such as turning lead into gold. As you master these recipes, they'll be added to your Recipe Book, and you'll get paid for the best combinations at the end of each day. With 3 to 5 players competing, the game is full of strategic bidding and variable player powers, making each 90 to 120 minute playthrough unique and engaging. Designed by Alan D. Ernstein, Ars Mysteriorum is a fantasy game that's easy to learn, even for those familiar with board games, and offers a fun and challenging experience.
