Description
In Seasons of Rice, you and your opponent take on the role of farmers, working to create the most bountiful harvest by puzzling together paddy cards to expand your landscape of rice paddies. The game is divided into two seasons, the Wet Season and the Dry Season, each with its own unique challenges and opportunities. During the Wet Season, you'll draft cards and place them into your landscape, setting yourself up for success in the Dry Season. As you play, you'll need to think strategically about how to close off paddies and score points, using houses, farmers, and buffaloes to increase your score. Your ancestor, a guiding spirit, will also award you points for achieving certain conditions. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of just 20 minutes, Seasons of Rice is a fun and engaging game that's perfect for a quick competition.
